Withdrawn from use and in storage at Horne Air's former base on West Government Lake. Carries the name "Bomber". Taken on charge new by the US Army in 1955 as 54-1689. Began civilian life in 1975 as N87572. Imported to Canada as C-GEWG in 1981. Joined Horne Air in 1989. Destroyed in an accident on 10 October 2016 while registered to 101190984 Saskatchewan Ltd of Saskatoon, SK. On a hunting trip flight from Vanderhoof, BC to Laidman Lake, BC with 4 passengers, stalled into rising wooded terrain 11 miles east of the Lake. The pilot was fatally injured and two passengers seriously injured.
