Ex Swedish AF 32028. Stored at Cranfield for many years (with hopes of restoring it to flying condition) until it was cut up and removed to a scrapyard in Willenhall, West Midlands around 2010. It is still stored in Willenhall, dismantled, in the hope that someone, somewhere, will buy all the pieces and put it all back together again. A sad story for what I think is the only Lansen in the UK.

Ex 32028 Swedish Air Force. Arrived in the UK from Sweden in 1986, a flight that used up most of the remaining airframe life. Externally renovated in the late 90's by VAT at Cranfield, and de-registered in June 2014. The last Lansen in the UK, and noted in 2017 in pieces at a Willenhall, West Midlands scrapyard.

Arrived in the UK from Sweden in 1986, a flight that used up most of the remaining airframe life. Externally renovated in the late 1990s by VAT, she is seen here standing forlornly in a distant corner of Cranfield airfield. She was de-registered in June 2014 and noted in 2017 in pieces at a Willenhall, West Midlands scrapyard.

Delivered to the Air Force in 1956, and transferred to the Försökscentralen trial unit (FC) at Malmen in 1960. The black and white scheme faciliated evaluation of filmed shooting tests. This Lansen was taken out of service in late 1985 and became G-BMSG in the UK. After many years of storage at Cranfield it was dismantled around 2010 and ended up stored in a yard in Willenhall, UK. By 2017 it was still there, dismantled.

This aircraft (ex Sweden Air Force 32028) is totally devoid of markings. It was in open storage close to the perimeter of the airfield at Cranfield for many years until it was dismantled and trucked to a scrapyard in Willenhall (West Midlands) circa 2010. It was still stored there by 2017, in dismantled condition.
