Delivered to the US Navy as R4Y-1 141005 in 1955. Redesignated as a C-131F in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB in 1980. To Everts as N9767Y and flown to Fairbanks, AK in 1999. Used for parts. Still there in 2022.

In December 1999 it was civilianised as N9767Y and acquired by Everts Airfuel, Alaska, for its R2800 engines and ferried to their Fairbanks, AL., base. It was last reported stored in the company's compound there in 2010 and is thought to have been scrapped shortly thereafter.

Former US Navy C-131F 141005 was bought by Everts and stored in their yard in 1999. It still carries its full US Navy markings and serial, with it AMARC inventory number 1G007 still on the nose.

Stored in the Everts compound in September 2009, still carrying its USN BuNo 141005 markings. Acquired by Everts for its R2800 engines, the aircraft was scrapped a few years later.
