Ex - USAF 59-0531 and as such transported the Apollo 8 command module after splashdown from Hickam AFB to Long Beach Airport in December 1968. First noted at the Davis-Monthan "boneyard" in 1973, it was registered N2276V in July 1978 and by 1982 had been flown to Tucson Airport where it remained until finally scrapped in January 2001. The registration N2276V was cancelled in February 2011.
