One of a pair of Provincial Government of Saskatchewan Convair 580 firebombers, together with C-GVSK "473", deployed to the Fire Attack Base at Meadow Lake Airport. Built in 1954 for the USAF as a VC-131H, 54-2815, and converted to a CV-580 firebomber when transferred to civilian duties in the mid 1970s.

With bombing number "475", one of a group deployed at the Fire Attack Base in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Delivered new to the USAF in 1954 as C-131H Samaritan 54-2815.

Got first civil register (N7146X) about 2 months after picture taken. Continue working for US officials under Department of State Air Wing (DoSAW). 1991 Peruvian National Police as PNP-025. Back to US for Marshals Service as N7146X. Re-registered to N723ES for Contract Air Cargo, until 2008 moved to Canada as C-GSKQ and converted for fire fighting tasks.

Owned by Contract Air Cargo at the time. After its USAF days (54-2815) during which it was converted to VC-131H, it served the Bureau of International Narcotics as N7146X, the Peruvian National Police as PNP-025 and the US Marshals Service as N723ES. In Jan 2008 it went to the Province of Saskatchewan-Saskatchewan Government Northern Operations as C-GSKQ.

Operated in VIP role by the National Guard Bureau. Leased to Peru National Police as PNP-025 1987-1994.
