This Hip-C was built in October 1974 and served with the Soviet Army Aviation (probably in Afghanistan with unknown serial) and then with the Ukranian Army. It became time expired and was placed into storage in March 2008 with a total time of 5,303 hours. It received a fresh lease of life by becoming the second prototype to undergo modernisation to MSB standard and a new CofR was issued in July 2015. It is now owned by Heliteam CZ but has been parked up at LKLT for some time.

Mi-8T modified to Mi-8MSB by Motor Sich. There is still a large Motor Sich sticker on the engine cowlings.
