ex British Airtours (G-BHBR) and British Airways. In July '94 to American International (N103CK) and in '95 converted to freigther. In May '99 to Kitty Hawk and from April 2002 CNJ Cargo (V2-LFQ). Re-registered 9L-LDZ in August 2003, for Star Air Jordan. Between 2005 and 2013 Sky Eyes Airways (HS-SEC). Returned to lessor in March 2013. Scrapped Ras al Khaymah in 2018.

BA's Tristars usually visited Australia to meet P&O cruise ships to drop off and pick up passengers not making the complete round-the-world voyage. At the time G-BHBR visited Perth, the liner QE2 was making its maiden voyage to Australia.

British Airways operated transtlantic services from GLA for a few years. This Tristar is pictured on a frosty morning just starting her take-off roll on rw23 for the hop across to JFK. Alas, I lost my notebook for this time period, hence, the shot is not correctly dated but was taken between the dates 28th October to 9th November 1990.
