Marian Rice Hart purchased this aircraft in July 1961 having learnt to fly in 1946, made the first of her seven solo trans-Atlantic flights in 1966 at the age of 74. Mostly flying alone till the age of 87, she took it to every continent except Antarctica.

On display at the wonderful Pima Air & Space Museum. I had such a super time meandering through and photographing all these beautiful old aircraft. Although the large exhibits probably hog all the attention from the public passing through, there are many, many other smaller interesting aircraft to be seen as well.
