This 744 was originally delivered to Air France in February 1991 and is pictured taxying out to rw16 for departure back to Paris (CDG). The plane was retired from the fleet in July 2010, ferried to Kemble (GBA) and subsequently scrapped.

Recovery in progress after a spectacular runway overrun. Due to the spoilers not deployed, the automatic brake disarmed and the assymetric thrust reverser, the aircraft overran the runway and ended up in a lagoon! Nobody was injured and the aircraft was repaired after a long working party.
