Smoke billows from this Belgian Defence A310 after the aircraft developed a fire in the port engine on landing. The incident immediately saw a full response from the airport's fire section, although the fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival at the scene. After inspection, the aircraft was able to taxi using its own power under the watchful eye of a fleet of fire trucks. Click here to see a sequence shot.

CA-01 and CA-02 awaiting disposal after many years of service. Unfortunately both aircraft were broken up in situ in 2017.

On landing at Edinburgh this day, Belgian Defence A310 CA-01 developed a engine fire. Substantial flames can clearly be seen emanating from the port engine as it slows down during its landing roll-out. Click here to see a sequence shot.

Moved by tug to the end of the short runway after the port engine caught fire during landing resulting in a full emergency.
