Photographed whilst it was visiting Palm Springs Air Museum, note the museum's C-47 N60154 in the background. Although painted as 472727, and the Technical Data Block quotes the serial as 44-72727, the aircraft's original USAAF identity was 45-11558. However parts of 44-74829 and 44-73822 are alleged to have been incorporated in the airframe during an early rebuild.

This shiny all silver Mustang is owned by Dick Pack, Las Vegas, NV. This aircraft has crashed twice during its career, 1967 and 1985, but it has been successfully restored to its immaculate condition. However, it must be a nightmare to keep the aircraft looking so shiny.
