Built in 1975, imported in 1994 and exported as N612RM in 1995. In 2023 it is active as C-GOJN.

This S-61 "Shortsky" is returning from a test flight with a long-line and water bucket attached. It was acquired by VIH in 2019 and has finally been repainted from the original black/white scheme into the full livery.

VIH Helicopters Sikorsky S-61N Short, C-GOJN was contracted to airlift new signs to the top of the Canadian Western Bank building located at 1070 West Georgia in downtown Vancouver on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022. The signage was airlifted from the heliport at HMCS Discovery, a local naval base on an Island adjacent to Stanley Park. This S-61N was delivered new to Greenland Air as OY-HBK in 1975. Later flown by Resorts Int'l and Trump Air (N222RA), Canadian Helic. (C-FSYH), Carson (fuselage shortened), and EP Aviation (N612RM) flying for US State Dept. overseas. VIH imported it in Jan 2019.

Resorts International Airline (RIA) acquired three 24-pax S-61Ns from Greenlandair and launched shuttle service for gamblers between New York City's W. 30th St heliport and Atlantic City's Steel Pier heliport in September in 1984. 1975 model S-61N OY-HBK was photographed (in the company of N3984C) at Montreal-Dorval on its ferry flight from Greenland to the USA. Later flown by Trump Air (N222RA), Canadian Helic. (C-FSYH), Carson, and EP Aviation (N612RM) flying for US State Dept. overseas. It's now VIH's C-GOJN.

On its way to fight the deadly Esperanza fire, this helicopter can drop 960 gallons of fire retardant or water in one pass.

The aircraft is fitted with a water tank and snorkel for use in fire fighting.
