A-018 was present for a week-long squadron rotation with the Dutch 315sq that operated NF-5A/B's. A-018 made its first flight on 22 March 1971 and was delivered to the Royal Danish Air Force on 20 April 1971. Its started to serve Eskadron 725 at Karup. Esk 725 was disbanded on 1 January 1994. A-018 made its last flight on 4 September 1992 and was transferred to Karup for Aircraft Battle Damage Repair Training in May 1994. It was to the Fire & Rescue department at Copenhage/Kastrup in mid-1998 and subsequently dumped and scrapped.

Squadron exchange with 315 Sqn

After being withdrawn many Drakens were put into open store awaiting their fate. This one ended up with the fire brigade in Kastrup.
