P-3A 161359, former Patrol Squadron 94, stored at AMARC in September 1987. The Orion received inventory code 2P024, and was later sold to Aero Union as N924AU. It was written off on 17 October 1991 during a repositioning flight from Santa Barbara (CA) to Missoula (MT) in support of a forest fire suppression effort in Montana. During a landing attempt at Missoula, the airtanker had disappeared off Misoullas radar screen. The aircraft was found on 18 October, sadly the two crew perished in the accident.

Arrived at AMARC February 1986 and left again in February 1990, having been bought by Aero Union for fire-bomber use. It was initially registered as N184AU and later N924AU. Unfortunately it was destroyed in a CFIT crash on approach to Missoula, MT on 16 October 1991, with the deaths of the two crew on board.

In the washrack. Delivered to the US Navy as 151359 in 1964. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1986. Sold to Aero Union as N184AU in 1989 and converted to a fire bomber. Reregistered as N924AU. Destroyed in a fatal crash into a mountain on approach to Missoula, MT in 1991.
