Delivered new to Western Airlines 11th June 1968 , leased to EG&G Mar 1981-Dec 1984 and transferred to AirCal Dec 1984. Merged into American Airlines July 1987

LorAir began operations in Jun 1999. It operated sports charters, tour charters, sub-services for other operators and special flights for the US Bureau of Prisons. The airline's certificate was revoked at the end of Nov 2001. This frame was originally N4501W with Western Airlines. It then operated with Air Cal and Viscount Air Services, with whom it was later re-reg N903RC.

Ex Western, leased by EG&G Mar 1981-Dec 1984. At the time this photo was taken N4501W was Leased To Lockheed Aircraft Service Co. In Ontario Ca.and Based at Air Force plant 42, this photo was taken very early in the Airlift program (probably 1980/81) because the Red horizontal stripe on the tail was removed within the first year.
