Helicopter Hire's Widgeon outside their hangar with similar machine G-APVD. Both WFU. G-APTW was loaned to the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1976 and was subsequently preserved at the Cornwall Air Park and then the North East Land Sea & Air Museums. Still present there in 2024.

Subsequently preserved by North East Aviation Museum, Sunderland.

The helicopter was withdrawn from service in 1973 and was part of the Cornwall Aero Park collection before being acquired by what was then the North East Aircraft Museum in 1993.

This aircraft appeared in the film "When Eight Bells Toll" painted in pseudo Royal Navy colours.
