Delivered to the USAF as 71-1406 in 1973. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1997. Moved to the ARM yard and registered as N146JS in 2001. .

This 737-253(A), designated T-43A Gator in USAF service flew first on 7 November 1973 and was delivered to the 455th Flying Training Squadron/ 323rd Flying Training Wing on 29 July 1974. It was retired to AMARC with inventory code AA TH0001 on 25 September 1997. It left the storage depot on 1 February 2001 for the civil market as N146JS. It was stored with Tucson-Western (AZ) up to April 2004. In April 2001, within its storage period with Tucson-Western, the 737 was sold to Jett Racing and Sales Inc. It was cancelled on 11 July 2019. The current whereabout and status of the aircraft are unkown

This T-43 was previously 71-1406 with the USAF serving with the 12th Flying Training Wing at Randolph AFB, Texas. It was retired to AMARC as AATH 0001 during Sept.1997 and then transferred to Western Intl. in Feb. 2001, whereupon it acquired the reg N146JS. Photographed at dusk using some extra illumination from my hire car headlights.
