Interim markings. In the summer of 1992 the number plate of 229 OCU was changed from 65 Squadron to 56 squadron. The 65 Sqn markings have been removed and the 56 Sqn not yet applied.

From No 11 Sqn, RAF Leeming. This aircraft was destroyed after crashing into the North Sea on 10 March 1995. The Photocall was a celebration of 40 years service of the Canberra with the Royal Air Force.
