This plane was originally built as a C-47A-60-DL by Douglas at Long Beach and accepted by the USAAF as 43-30658 and subsequently modified to the C-47E variant in Dec 1955. It became N94449 in the 1960s or early 1970s before being scrapped and the fuselage ending up at Bisbee-Douglas Airport in Douglas, AZ prior to 1973. At least the nose section survives at Buckeye.
