Delivered to the RAF as WD790 in 1952 and used as a test aircraft. To Leeming as fire trainer 8743M in 1982. Broken up for parts. Nose section to NEAM Sunderland in 1985 then to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, Old Sarum in 2018.

Royal Aircraft Establishment Bedford. Meteor NF11/12 hybrid used as a testbed for radar and other systems, cockpit section now preserved at the North East Aircraft Museum.

Built in June 1952 by Armstrong Whitworth. Fitted with modified nose for use by the Radar Research Establishment at Defford. Retired in late 1981.
