I had the privilege of taking a shot right next to the runway at 50mm. You can feel the power in your stomach that close.

Delivered to Pan Am as N539PA in 1979. To United as N148UA in 1986 then to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani as VR-BAT in 1995 and fitted with a VIP interior. Reregistered as VP-BAT in 1997. He died in 2016 and it was sold in 2018. Reregistered as N7477S in 2019 and stored at Marana, AZ. For sale at VP-BAT.com in 2022.

This beauty came to Kelowna and sat at KF Aerospace for a while. Fomerly with Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani. His markings on the tail were soon removed and it then went to Hamilton, Ontario for a while and later to Marana Arizona, registered as N7477S to CSDS Aircraft & Leasing and is for sale for a mere 9.5 Million.

This very welcome visitor popped up for some crew training circuits, pictured here about to touch and go from rw31. The aircraft carries the emblem of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani on the tail.
