This former American Eagle Convair 580 was imported into Colombia in 1992 and for a short time wore the '-X' suffix to it's registration, later photos on AirHistory.net show it without. Taxsur ceased flying in 1995 and after several years in storage at Bogota the aircraft was scrapped in 2001

Delivered to United Airlines as CV-40-31 N73145 in 1953. To N10CR in 1959 and converted to a CV440. To Frontier as N73145 in 1966 and converted to a CV580. To Frontier Commuter/Combs Airways in 1983 then to American Eagle/Metro Airlines in 1985. Stored at Marana in 1989. Converted to a freighter then to Avesco as HK-3740 in 1992. To Taxsur in 1993. Taxsur ceased operations in 1995 and it was stored at Bogota. Still there in 2001. Later scrapped.

Built as a CV-340 for United and converted to turboprop in 5.67 while owned by Frontier (N73145), this Convair was sold to Avesca Colombia in 8.92 after storage at Marana, going on to Taxsur in 12.93. Stored and up for sale at BOG in 2001 but scrapped since
