Being prepared by Dan-Air Engineering following sale to the Kenya Police Force. Ex-KN452, became 5Y-AKB. After service with the Kenya Police Force it was sold to Airfast Services Singapore PVT Ltd as N62303 in February 1977 but a year later it was scrapped and broken up for spares at Seletar.

One of a total of four Mi-17's originally operated by the Kenya Police Air Wing since around 2000. The others being 5Y-EDM, 5Y-SFA and 5Y-UKW (which crashed in June of 2009). The fate of the 3 remaining helis is unclear. However, a 5th - new built - Mi-17 was delivered to Kenya in March of 2017, carrying registration 5Y-DCI.
