Wearing a large Escadron de Convoyage 00-070 patch. This special scheme was applied to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this unit . EC 00-070"Chateaudun" was a special French air force squadron dedicated to aircraft ferrying. Disbanded in 2017.

Sold to Brazil in 1995 and became 4931 coded.

Later sold to ATAC and became N622AX

Fitted with laser pod "Atlis" and AS30 missile.

Assigned to Fighter Squadron "Alpes" (EC 02-013).

This Jaguar was hit during by an SA 7 Iraqi missile during he first French mission which took place on 17th January 1991, when 12 Jaguars launched for a daylight attack on the "Scud" missile facility at the Ahmed Al Jaber air base in Kuwait. The pilot managed to put it down at the US base at Jubail, with the rear of the aircraft badly damaged and the right engine totally destroyed. Aircraft was preserved in Châteaudun air base at the date of this photo but was later transfered to Musée de l'Air & de l'Espace, Paris-Le Bourget.
