This Jaguar was delivered to the AdlA in 1977. At the start of Operation Desert Storm on January 17, 1991, the plane hit by a missile during the raid on Al-Jaber. Dismantled and repatriated to France on board two Transall C160s, it was transferred in 1994 to the Châteaudun AB 279 where it served as an instructional airframe for the training of mechanics in combat damage repairs.

This Jaguar was hit during by an SA 7 Iraqi missile during he first French mission which took place on 17th January 1991, when 12 Jaguars launched for a daylight attack on the "Scud" missile facility at the Ahmed Al Jaber air base in Kuwait. The pilot managed to put it down at the US base at Jubail, with the rear of the aircraft badly damaged and the right engine totally destroyed. Aircraft was preserved in Châteaudun air base at the date of this photo but was later transfered to Musée de l'Air & de l'Espace, Paris-Le Bourget.
