The designer of this ultralight, K. McLeod, apparently intended to "capture the spirit of Santos Dumont's "Demoiselle", a pre-WWI airplane, without actually copying the original aircraft. It took 19 years to complete the project; now this aircraft is on display in the South Australian Aviation Museum
