The Swedish national cartographic agency, ROK, received a total of four Fw 58KO Weihes equipped with Zeiss cameras. They were operated as P6 type aircraft by the air force with civil registrations. SE-KAA was delivered in 1938, KAB in 1940, and KAC and KAD in March 1944 after KAA was lost in a crash. Formerly GR-GB of the Luftwaffe, SE-KAD was retired in 1957. First flown in mid-1935, the Weihe (harrier) was a mainly a crew trainer of which 1670 examples were built for the Luftwaffe and quite a few export customers. D-OQYT, which also carried the paramilitary registration WL-OQYT, is seen being demonstrated here to the Dutch army air arm which did order five Fw 58s.
