'305 No 1' - this is the first Farman F.305, F-ALEF, with nine-cylinder Gnome-Rhône engines, and not F-ALEE, which was an F.306. F-ALEF had an accident in Prague in December 1934, apparently still as an F.305, and became an F.303, No 6. She is probably operated by Lignes Aériennes Farman (SGTA) here, but no markings are visible. The company merged into Air France in 1933. Photo from: Nationaal Archief (Netherlands)

It seems that the F.301 was named L'Etoile d'Argent / The Silver Star class by Lignes Aériennes Farman. French postcard published in 1931.

New eight-passenger airliner on the Paris - Amsterdam line. The F.300 prototype first flew in early 1930 and this is the first of six F.301s with Salmson 9 engines. Apparently the type was named L'Etoile d'Argent / The Silver Star class: this is not an individual aircraft name. Photo from: Amsterdam City Archives
