This Fulcrum was built as a MiG-29 and TOC with the NVA as '693' and then transferred to the German AF after reunification as 2915 (29+15). Around 1995 it was converted to a 'G' but sold to the Polish AF in December 2003, never actually flying for them, rather for use for spare parts and as an instructional airframe. It was assigned to Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze NR 2 (Military Aviation Works No. 2) at Bydgoszcz storage and is now again in use for ground instruction at the Politechnika Wrocławska.

This Flogger-K was taken on charge with the Polish AF in July 1985 and served, at first with the 40 Pulk Lotnictwa Mysliwsko-Bombowego (40th Fighter-Bomber Aviation Regiment) at Swidwin and then with the 7 Eskadra Lotnictwa Taktycznego (7th Tactical Aviation Squadron) at Powidz. It was retired in August 2008 and transported to the Politechnika Wrocławska (Wrocław University of Science and Technology) for use as an instructional airframe.
