In RAF service from 15 July 1954, precisely 67 years before I took this photograph, until it was used for ground instruction as 7491M from 21 November 1957. Preserved with 2117 Squadron ATC at Kenfig Hill, South Wales, for many years. Due to the imminent relocation of the ATC Squadron HQ to Bridgend, the Hunter was dismantled on 8 November 2022 and moved on 10 November 2022 to Morayvia Aircraft Museum at Kinloss for restoration and display.
