In service with Herts & Essex Aero Club at their base in Broxbourne, Herts. Probably taken shortly before the airfield was closed to become a gravel quarry in March 1954 and the Aero Club moved to a new base at Stapleford. Date is approximate but, significantly, the green fin flash the aeroplane wore from 1946 to at least 1951 is no longer present indicating the shot is late in the Club's Broxbourne tenure. Taylorcaft Plus D G-AHSD is in the background; it was registered to Herts & Essex Aero Club on 21 November 1950 and was sold to a Club member in August 1952. Photographer not known.
