On 27 November 1992, a failed coup d'etat attempt was made in Venezuela, with involvement from the air force on both sides. Twenty years later, a commemoration parade was organised in which this F-16 would participate, among many other aircraft. This picture was made during one of the rehearsals for the air parade. Serial 8924 is one of two F-16s painted for the 25th anniversary of Grupo Aereo de Caza 16 "Dragones" in 2007, and stills sports this tail about five years later.

During CRUZEX13 Venezuelas Aviación Militar Nacional Bolivariana participated with a number of General Dynamics F-16A Block 15K Fighting Falcons. This one (1041 / 9P-1) of Grupo Aéreo de Caza 16 Dragones had special markings celebrating 30 years of the unit.
