Photographer unknown - Delivered to USAF October 1960 and leased to FAA as a flight check aircraft registered as N96 . Returned to USAF in 1973. Converted to EC-135K under Project Head Dancer as command post and assigned to 8th Tactical Deployment Control Squadron. In 1996 converted to C-135K and assigned as a VIP transport to the 15th Air Base Wing, 65th Airlift Squadron, Hickham AFB, Honolulu, Hawaii - To AMARC as CA0131 10 March 2003.

This aircraft crashed into mountainous terrain near Kirtland AFB, NM 14 September 1977 with the loss of all 20 crew.
