71 and 76 squadrons within the UAE AF operate the Mirage 2000-9DAE/9DAD. These squadrons are assigned to the Fighter Wing from Al Dhafra. A third, 86 squadron flies the same type from Al Safran airbase. Most Mirages 2000s carry the Fighter Wing badge on the nose section. The types will be replaced from 2027 onwards by the Rafale F4.
