Turning off runway 26 on a gloomy day at Gatwick. Taken from a crash gate which is no longer accessible. Delivered new to Alitalia as I-DIBO on 06 Feb 1969. Leased to Aermediterranea on 01 Jul 1981. Leased to ATI on 01 Apr 1985. Returned to Alitalia on 01 Dec 1988. Reregistered to I-RIZX on 25 Jun 1990. Sold to Zuliana Air of Venezuela as YV-497C on 28 Sep 1994. Suspended ops 1997. Stored at Maracaibo and last noted on 15 Feb 2017. Broken up in 2022.

Delivered to Alitalia as I-DIBO in 1969. To Aermediterranea in 1981 then to ATI in 1985, back to Alitalia in 1988 and reregistered as I-RIZX in 1990. To Zuliana Air as YV-497C in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Maracaibo when they ceased operations in 1997. Still there in 2019.

Pictured on lease to Aermediterranea (1981 - 85), this DC-9 was delivered to ATI Aero Trasporti Italiani September 28, 1973. After lease return, the aircraft was eventually transferred to Alitalia in November 1991. Sold to Northwest airlines in November 1996, it became N623NW and flew on until retired January 11, 2005. It was flown to Marana, AZ, stored at Marana Pinal Airpark and later sold to Evergreen Aircraft Sales & Leasing.

First delivered to ATI in 1971, to Aermediterranea in 1982.
