N9FH (ex USAr 80-23461) owned by Firehawk Helicopters was leased by Touchdown Helicopters for the 2018/19 fire season. Sadly this airframe was lost in 2021, when it crashed in a wooded marshland during a training flight close to Leesburg International Airport (LEE/KLEE), Florida. A post crash fire occurred. There were four people on board and sadly no survivors.

In the mid-1990s, Brainerd Helicopters became the first domestic operator of former military Blackhawk helicopters. Now known as Firehawk Helicopters, the company is developing several supplemental type certificates (STC) for missions in the restricted category for the aircraft. This former US Army UH-60A 80-23469 was acquired in 2017.
