Written off in April 1982 after a nosewheel collapse at Belfast

Ex N6685, RCAF (3TM) 1567. Registration cancelled on 21 July 1972 and restored as N6685. It became N1171X on 14 September 1973, and was damaged beyond repair when it force landed in Shelbyville, Indiana on 19 November 1976.

Delivered to BEA in 1961, went to Universal from October 1968 to January 1969. Seen here with Sagittair (1971-1973). Last user was Air Bridge Carriers until 17 April 1982 when nose gear collapsed on landing at Belfast.

Sagittairs Beech 18s were popular on Heathrow in the early Seventies (with the enthusiasts anyway), the company foundered after moving up to Argosy freighters

Sagittair was a small package start-up airfreight company in the UK, progressed to AW Argosies then went out of business

First flown as G-1-7 and delivered to Riddle Airlines as N6502R in 1.61, this Argosy passed to Capitol, Zantop and then Universal as N895U. In 2.72 she returned to the UK for Sagittair (which earlier flew Beech 18s from Heathrow) but they soon closed down and the aircraft is seen here having been acquired by Air Bridge Carriers.
