The sixth prototype of the Z-37 and was delivered in July, 1965 ( to what?) later being registered OK-UJE with flight testing carried out in the USSR. In August 1967 it was transferred to the Aviation Research Institute (VZLÚ) in Prague but sometime in 1968 was damaged by a hurricane but rebuilt using parts (wings, center plane, engine) from Z-37 cn 007, OK-UJC. It made its last flight in June, 1974, completing just over 477 hours and 2514 take-offs. It was transferred to VHÚ (Kbely museum parent organisation) in January 1975 and has been on loan to this fire-fighting museum since April 2011.

This Hoplite was first delivered to the Czech Ministry of the Interior (FMV) in July 1990 and transferred over to the Czech police in January 1993. During this period the Czech Bovernment had noted the success of helicopters around Europe in helping the emergency services and so from 1st April 1987 the (Czech) Air Rescue Service (Záchranná služba - Air Ambulance) began operating. This helicopter is on display in the excellent Fire Protection Exhibition museum in recognition of this fact.
