Single-seat quadrocopter developed by the German company "Aerotechnik, Entwicklung und Apparatebau GmbH" in Frankfurt, first flown in 1969.

The Bölkow Bo 103 was a single-seat experimental helicopter built by Bölkow Entwicklungen KG in 1961. A single prototype was built, but work was stopped in 1962 due to lack of interest on the part of the West German armed forces.

This original gyrodyne was developed and tested in 1968-1969 by the VFW-Fokker. Its unique feature was the drive concept using compressed air to drive the blades. The gyrodyne was equipped with a single turbine which drove a centrifugal compressor producing compressed air distributed to the blade tips fitted with nozzles. The main rotor was used for hovering, while the forward thrust was provided by two fans, also driven by compressed air. Project was abandoned after a few flights when it became clear that this type of propulsion was inefficient. Three prototypes were built with two preserved.

The third prototype of Eurocopter Tiger which made its maiden flight on November 19, 1993 as F-ZWWT. This PT3 was featured in the James Bond movie "Golden Eye" in 1995.

Built by Alfons Siemetzki and two employees on their own initiative with extensive use of serial parts to save costs in order to offer a "people's helicopter". This ultra-light helicopter was displayed at the 1964 Hanover Air Show. First flight was in 1964 or 1965 (sources give different dates). The helicopter was tested for some time and then the project was abandoned without achieving certification.
