This Tomcat is painted to represent BuNo 160403, which was one of two VF-41 Black aces F-14s from USS Nimitz involved in shooting down two Libyan Su-22 "Fitters" over the Gulf of Sidra. This happened early in the Reagan presidency and so this F-14 is on display at Reagan Library to commemorate the event. In reality this is BuNo 162592, which was delivered to the Navy in January 1986 and served with VF-1, VF-21, VF-154, and finally the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (formally TopGun).

The F-117 was the world's first operational stealth aircraft. Between 1981 and 2008, Lockheed Martin produced 59 operational F-117s and five developmental prototypes, yet the type wasn't publicly acknowledged until 1988. Unexpected Guest is on permanent loan to the Reagan Foundation from the National Museum of the USAF and went on public display at the Reagan Library in December 2019.

This was the second of two Boeing VC-137C USAF aircraft that were specifically configured and maintained for the use of the US president. It entered service during the Nixon administration in 1972 and went on to serve all US presidents until George W. Bush. It was decommissioned and flown to San Bernardino (KSBD) in September 2001 where it was presented to the Reagan Foundation. Boeing disassembled the plane and transported it to the Library in pieces to be reassembled, restored to museum quality and placed on display in this specially built pavilion

Magnificently preserved at the very informative Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is this former "Air Force One" VC-137B 72-7000. The library is located near Simi Valley (CA).
