This was the fifth of six Mew Gull racers to be completed. It won the 1938 Kings Cup at 236 mph flown by Alex Henshaw. It is seen at the 1953 event. After several crashes it is still airworthy in the Shuttleworth Collection.

The sole M-7A Nighthawk four-seater built in 1944, when competing in the 1953 Kings Cup Air Race from Pendeford Airport. This beautiful aircraft was abandoned in France in March 1963 en route to Singapore, becoming derelict.
