"The Red Arrows". note the early red colour scheme. DBR in an emergency landing at Lee- on-Solent following a bird strike, July 1973. To A2677 at Culdrose in 1979. Sold in the USA as N3XR, February 1987.Crashed at Shreveport 19th January 1991 (with sadly two fatalities) due to fuel starvation.

To the RAF as KN290 in January 1945. Then back to the USAF as 44-76207. Note the 48th TFW fin flash as worn by the units F-100's at this time. This aircraft was later converted to an AC-47D gunship and was shot down as such by enemy gunfire at Pleiku, Gia Lai Province in Vietnam. May 5th 1968. with 6 survivors and sadly 3 fatalities.
