Pictured on a wet homebase platform. The open day at Kiel saw many showers, but nice photo opportunities. This Westland Sea King made its first flight on 7 June 1973 and was delivered to the Marineflieger the next month. It was initially withdrawn from service in October 2012 but saw active service again. In 2023, it was possibly moved to the fire department at Kiel.

This OV-10 carries FMS serial 158304 and was delivered to the Luftwaffe as D-9557 and later reserrialled to 99+28. It served the Schiessplatzstaffel (SPST) within the Luftwaffe (as pictured) and acted as a target towing aircraft. It was retired and preserved in Speyer museum (Germany) from Apr'94 and sold to the States in Apr'05. It was moved to Kissimmee (FL) and received the Certificate of airworthiness as NX614V in Jan'08 and was brought to flying condition again. Moved to Classic Aircraft Operations & Museum, Rockville (MD) as N614V. As such in 2023.

After service in 1993 sold as ER-IADE to Eritrea, and later reserialled to E3-AAB within the Eritrean Air Force / Asmara Air Service. It was there withdrawn from use by 2004.

A Westland built Sea King that made its first flight on 25 June 1974. The helicopter was delivered to the Marineflieger in August 1974. The Sea King was retired and stored at Jever from May 2019.

One of the first Marineflieger Sea Kings in their (then) new livery. The tactical grey scheme replaced the grey one with day glow coloured parts. 89+56 is a Westland built Sea King that made its first flight on 7 September 1973.

This D0228 was built by Dornier. It made its first flight on 29 November 1985 and was delivered to the Marineflieger on 30 January 1986. It was transferred to the Luftwaffe and served WTD61. On 31 December 2004 the aircraft was retired and offered for sale. It temporary became D-CPBO by May 2005 and was then sold by the manufacturer as TR-LHE to Gabon in June 2005. It continued service with SCD Aviation Gabon. It became S9-RAS with Africa's Connection in Sao Tome and Principe in 2010 and TJ-RAS with Transitair in Cameroon from November 2021.

This Starfighter was used by the spectacular display team "Vikings" during airshow over Kiel. In the early days of the Vikings, they used just operational Starfighters from the MFG flightlines. So each time you saw them performing they brought different aircraft with them. This Messerschmitt-built Starfighter was sold to Greece as 7433 on 25 October 1988. On the tail, the badge of MFG 2 is seen, but also the markings of the transition unit Luftwaffenversorgungsregiment 1 "F-104 Kommando" (LVR 1).
