One of the very few Mystére II preserved at this time. Athough 150 were ordered and produced for French Air Force, this type of aircraft remaind only 2 years for operational duties within 6 fighter squadrons. It was not very efficient and rapidly replaced by the better Mystére IV. This one was preserved at Nîmes Air Base 726 untill 1996.

Essentially a swept-winged Ouragan, the Mystère II could break Mach 1 in a dive, but was quickly superseded by the more advanced Mystère IV.
