This was one of 2 MXP-650s purchased by the Air Force for training: FAE-751 and FAE-752. On January 29, 2002, FAE-752 crashed while on a training flight at Salinas killing its two occupants. The remains of the aircraft have been found in the back part of this aquatic park, apparently to be on display along with two other aircraft inside the park. The other MXP-650 is currently stored inside a hangar at Cotopaxi Air Force Base in Latacunga.
