A fixed gear demonstrator still wearing the show number from Le Bourget

A retractable gear aircraft used for demonstrator, equipped with a particular mount on top of the fin holding two aerials to the wings.

Plans for PADC (Philippines Aerospace Development Company) to assemble the SIAI-Marchetti SF-600 Canguro in the Philippines came to nothing and only two were completed. The sole survivor, now in very poor condition, still shows signs of the faded livery of its former operator, the Philippine Coast Guard. The other aircraft RP-C1298 which was operated by the Philippine National Police crashed in September 1997.

Turboprop version. Built in 1982 and registered as I-KANG. CofA expired in 1992. A small number of the type were produced. No series production was undertaken.

Prototype. First flew as an SF600 in 1978. Modified to an SF600TP with turboprop engines in 1982. Crashed into Mount Toifa near Rome in 1985.

The Vulcanair SF.600 Canguro was developed in Italy at the end of the 1970s. Despite a number of attempts to put the aircraft into series production, only 10 were ever built.

The prototype of what was ultimately to be an unsuccessful 9-seater feederliner/business aircraft. It was re-engined with Allison turboprops by SIAI-Marchetti in 1981 as the SF.600TP, and 8 production aircraft were built with a 9th (I-VULA) being built by Vulcanair, but no further production took place.

Prototype of the General Avia F600 Canguro. It went in limited series production in Italy as Siai-Marchetti SF-600 Canguro and Vulcanair Canguro. Two examples were acquired by PADC in the Philippines, but no series production was undertaken.
