With W-14 on the left and W-3 in the background. The MLD (Marine Luchtvaart Dienst) acquired 15 aircraft between 1935 and 1938. All aircraft served in the Netherlands and the Netherlands East Indies, except for W-3 and W-9 (which only saw action in the Netherlands). W-3 was destroyed on May 12, 1940 and W-9 was destroyed on April 13, 1940. W-14 managed to ecape to Great Britain on May 13, 1940 and was subsequently shipped to the NEI in August 1940.
