Fokker's first biplane was the M.7 of 1914. The M.10 was similar but with two additional struts towards the nose. The type sold to Austria-Hungary in two variants, the single-bay biplane M.10E, Austro-Hungarian designation B.I, and the two-bay M.10Z and M.11, or B.II. Fliegerkompanie (FliK) 6 was one of the receiving units and was based here at Igalo in 1915. We believe that the stone bridge in the background still exists, next to the E65 road bridge.
