The Ju 388 was the final development of the Ju 88, a high-altitude aircraft planned in Ju 388J fighter, Ju 388K bomber and Ju 388L recce variants. The amazing Margaret Bourke-White photographed a downed Ju 88 on a square in Russia in 1941. Four years later, she entered Leipzig two days after the first American troops and photographed these Ju 388s, presumably L-1 versions, in a bombed ATG factory building. Another shot shows clearly that this is 340410. 340301 is also seen. Photo by: Margaret Bourke-White / Life
