The Bréguet C.U 1 was advanced for its time had been a great success at the military air competitions in Reims. The Swedish Army bought and imported the plane and gave it the designation B 1 (for biplane No.1). They also bought a Nieuport M1 intending to compare the two types prior to any order. However, the B 1 suffered many problems and was quickly discarded. In 1977 the Swedish Aviation History Society decided to built this copy using many original parts, including the tail section. It is now on display at this museum.
